This car tour covers the most significant local highlights which are featured on the Russian money – 10-ruble banknote. We go get to see the chapel of Saint Paraskeva Pyatnitsa, Communal Bridge and the Krasnoyarsk dam (Hydroelectric Power Station). This tour can be counted as the city tour since it covers downtown of Krasnoyarsk, where the chapel is located. Relax in the comfortable car and get to know all these fascinating stories. We mostly drive around the city and the area around. But we also make stops to take photos and stretch legs. The tour is run year round.

Trip to the Krasnoyarsk dam (Hydroelectric Power Station)
This car trip might be counted as part of the 10-rouble tour which lasts 3-4 hours. We drive outside of the city straight to the Krasnoyarsk dam. On the way to the dam we make stops by the look out “Tsar-Ryba” (Fish-King) to enjoy the spectacular view of Yenisey river. The second highlight of the tour is Ovsyanka village. This is home to famous Russian writer Victor Astafiev. He became famous for his books that he wrote about Siberian people and their life in early 20th century. "The Last Bow” memorial in Ovsyanka is the reconstruction of the so named book, where Astafiev describes his own years that he spent as a kid in his grandmother’s house. This is a great opportunity to meet with Siberian rural household and learn more about tough peasant’s life. The tour is run year round.

Yenisey river discovery
Yenisey river starts on the south of Russia from two smaller rivers and runs all the way towards north into the Arctic Ocean. It divides Russia, Siberia and city of Krasnoyarsk onto two parts. The river is the unofficial border between Eastern and Western Siberia.
